I'm watching a tv show that is focusing on an unknown fish (or mammal) in Lake Champlain. What's interesting is that they made a sound recording and it has the same echolocation to that of a beluga whale....but a beluga whale doesn't live in fresh water. I hope they find this creature!!

I live on the Vermont side of Lake Champlain. My guess is they were talking about Champ, the Lake Champlain Monster.

I had looked it up when I read the post and that's what I thought too. Champ, it's a big garfish. So, there are still more, Champ was over a hundred years ago, I can't believe a freshwater fish could live that long in the wild.
