I think it's just a myth. Something that large would have been already verified and documented. But all we have are blurry videos, footprints and hearsay all of which seem staged. Humans discover new animals even in recent times, but those animals are far small and/or out of reach of most people. Big Foot has been "seen" too many times not to be able to find them or at least one.

There are no stories of the Big Foot in my home country, we are not part of that legend. However, we have a legend of Yeti. Yeti is described as an abdominal snowman, with the likeness of the Big Foot. yeti is believed to human-like creature living in the Himalayas. Just like the Big Foot, there are numerous stories of Yeti sightings.
