How often do you take your pets to the vet?

Do you usually go for regular check up to the vet for them to inspect your pet and know if everything is as it should be? I've seen some people who barely take their dog to the vet and I'm not sure if they have given them all their injections.

As a pet owner, how often do you take your pet to see the vet?

I took my dogs faithfully for their checkups and shots. But I don't ever remember taking any of my cats to the vet.
