Animals at the workplace?

How do you feel about having animals at the workplace?

I'm afraid they won't appreciate it if I took my rabbits there. I wouldn't mind if someone took their animal with them. As long as I don't have to clean up after them.

First of all, not all pets are going to get along very well. You can have some mild mannered pets hanging out alongside aggressive or traumatized pets. Some of the pets, like rescue dogs, may be coming from backgrounds of abuse. They might have a hard time socializing or being in the same area as other pets.

The last three places that I worked at observed National Take Your Pet to Work Day. Although not too many people participated, there were some that would bring the pet, mostly dogs. I think it was mostly an excuse to come in late and go home early since most didn't keep their pets in the office all day. I didn't really care.

This is so wrong and I am not going to feel comfortable working in a place where staff are allowed to come to the workplace with their pets. Kindly find how to make them stay at home for goodness sake. Why want to get everyone at the workplace feeling unease because you want to give yourself maximum comfort at the workplace by bringing pet around?

The zoo is a workplace is it not

They have a few cat and dog cafes around New Zealand which is awesome. I haven't been to any though. I would however love to be greeted by a cat or a dog if I visited a business.
