What are some ways to honor and remember a deceased pet?

I had a drawing made of the last dog. I wish I had a good photo of my favorite dog; I would have had a drawing made of her too.

We knew our dog was going to pass at some point, since she had gotten older and was not feeling so well. What I did was to finally create a "book" for my daughter called Lilly Loves Fries. When our daughter was younger, she always wanted to write a book with that title, but never really did it. So, I assembled photos into a photo book that I purchased through Walgreens or CVS and then added the text of all the things Lilly loved. The first photo was the fries I think? The last photo was a pic of the dog and our daughter and it said but most of all, Lilly loves ___ our daughter___.

Our cat Smokey passed away in 2022 after suffering heart failure, it hit us pretty hard and it did take time to adjust after her being with us for 12 years.

We have kept all her toys, her bed, her blanket and her food bowls and we have picture frames with pictures of her and her nose print and paw prints that they made for us before they put her to sleep.

Me and my daughter both want to get a tattoo of her paw print with her name, the year she was born and the year she passed with angel wings when we can.
